Accounts use your email, account identifier, saved stories, reading and email preferences. Supabase stores account data and manages sign-in. Email briefings are opt-in, and you can unsubscribe in My account or an email link. Saved stories remain until you unsave them. A unique public nickname is required to comment and cannot be changed after registration. Your optional profile flag is self-selected, separate from your reading region, and appears on future public comments. You can change or remove your flag in My account. Emails and Google profile names are never shown in comments. Comments are shared across editions and are not automatically translated. You can delete your own comments; their displayed name, flag and text are cleared, while internal identifiers and times are retained to prevent abuse. Deleting an account deletes its comments. Administrators may hide inappropriate comments. Browser storage keeps your sign-in session; sign out on shared devices.
